The ‘Global Consumption’ report can be used to generate a report that displays a summary of global commodity consumption across the system. A summarized version of this report can be found in the Global  Consumption (Summary) report.

This report can be found under the ‘Stock’ header in the Jasper Reports suite, and if we select it we will see the following options for running it.

• From Date & Time – Allows us to select a date using the drop-down menu to filter the reported consumption from
• To Date & Time – Allows us to select a date using the drop-down menu to filter the reported consumption to
  • Leaving either of these in the default ‘DAY’ position will use today’s date for that field
• Or Production In The Past Hours – Allows entry of a number of hours into the past to report upon – note that this will override the date selection parameters above if anything is entered here
• Select Commodity (Optional) – Optional filter to allow the selection of a specific commodity
• Select Commodity Group (Optional) – Optional filter to allow the selection of a group of commodities set up in Control Center.
• Select Production Location (Optional) – Optional filter to filter results by production location
• Select Site (Optional) – Optional filter to filter results by site
• Show Stock Consumed to Make (Optional) – Optional filter to view the items used in the production of a specific formula
• Show Commodities – Shows commodities on the report with the ‘type’ of ‘ingredient’
• Show Formulas – Shows batch and product formula consumption on the report
• Show Packaging – Shows commodities on the report with the ‘type’ of ‘packaging’
• Show Miscellaneous – Shows commodities on the report with the ‘type’ of ‘miscellaneous’
• Excel Friendly Format – Displays the report in a more excel friendly format
• Include Items With Zero Consumption – Includes in the report a list of commodities (depending on the filters applied above) with no consumption in the set time period

If we run the report as we have set it up in the image above, we will generate one that looks like this:

• Clicking a lot number of a consumed ingredient will open a ‘Forwards Traceability’ report for that lot.
