The ‘Global Consumption (Summary)’ report can be used to generate a report that displays a simplified summary of global commodity consumption across the system. An expanded version of this report is the ‘Global Consumption‘ report.

This report can be found under the ‘Stock’ header in the Jasper Reports suite, and if we select it we will see the following options for running it.

• From Date & Time – Allows us to select a date using the drop-down menu to filter the reported consumption from
• To Date & Time – Allows us to select a date using the drop-down menu to filter the reported consumption to
  • Leaving either of these in the default ‘DAY’ position will use today’s date for that field
• Show Daily Consumption Figures – Groups results by daily consumption for each commodity
• Excel Friendly Format – Displays the report in a more excel friendly format
• Include Items With Zero Consumption – Includes in the report a list of commodities (depending on the filters applied above) with no consumption in the set time period

If we run the report as we have set it up in the image above, we will generate one that looks like this:
