The ‘Stock Waste’ report can be used to generate a report that lists wasted stock as a result of several different factors, including stock adjust/withdrawal, aborted ingredients, production adjustments, or auto-zero/cleardown events. This report can be found under the ‘Waste’ header in the Jasper Reports suite, and if we select it we will see the following options for running it.

Here we can filter by date which, if left blank here, will just use the current day as the filter. We can also choose whether to include commodities just from specific suppliers, specific commodities, or commodities that were designated waste for a specific reason, or if multiple reasons share common phraseology.Further to this we can also choose to show/hide the following:

• Stock withdrawals
• Stock adjustments
• Auto-zero/cleardown events
• Production asjustments
• Aborted batches

If we run the report as we have set it up in the image above, we will generate one that looks like this:

Clicking the lot number of a commodity lot here will open a ‘Forward Traceability’ report for that lot.
