The ‘Open Sales Orders (Detailed)’ report can be used to generate a report that lists any sales orders that have not yet been shipped, along with their contents.

This report can be found under the ‘Sales’ header in the Jasper Reports suite, and if we select it we will see the following options for running it.

Here we can use the date filters to select a date range to view open sales orders within.

We can then choose to filter the results either by the order date or the delivery date.

If we run the report as we have set it up in the image above, we will generate one that looks like this:

Clicking on the order number, delivery date, commodity line, or balance to ship field for an open order will open a ‘Sales Order Manifest’ report.
