Formula List Summary Per Customer

Summary

Formula List Summary Per Customer compares formula costs and selling values for customer-linked formulas. It shows the customer and formula alongside commodity cost, labor, overhead, total cost, sale price, rebate and margin.

Use the optional customer selection to focus the report. The margin column is an amount calculated from sale price less total cost and rebate; it is not a percentage.

Report Setup

Choose a customer to restrict the result, or leave the optional customer filter unselected to include all matching customers.

Run the report and compare each formula’s cost components, sale price and rebate.

Sample Report

The example below uses fictional records populated into the report’s Jasper layout. Demonstration labels have been added; the content and number of pages depend on your data and selected options.

The report contains:

  • Customer and formula — Identifies the customer and the latest type-1 formula linked through the product/customer mapping.
  • Cost and margin — Commodity cost combines packaging and ingredients after loss. Labor and overhead contribute to total cost; margin then subtracts that total and the rebate from the sale price.
  • Production assumptions — Run Time (Mins) and the stored loss value accompany each formula’s cost figures.

The following report links are available in the JasperReports web viewer:

  • Formula — The formula field links to the Formula List report using the selected formula ID. The source contains two formula-linked fields.

These destinations depend on the reports installed on your server. Links inside the example images are not interactive.
