The ‘Document Change Log’ page of the ‘Document Control’ section of the V5 Control Center allows users to view any changes made to documents held in the ‘Document Repository‘.
This page provides a guide and column definitions for the ‘Document Change Log’ window in Control Center. More information on document setup can be found in our ‘Document Control’ module guide (coming soon!).
Control Center Overview
The ‘Document Change Log’ section can be found under the ‘QMS > Document Control’ menu in Control Center.
This window features 3 panels:
Document Change Log (Red): Where the system will list a history of changes made to documents held within the ‘Document Repository’, including information such as previous values, and the user who performed the change.
Column Help – Document Change Log
Type
The type of change, driven by the panel that the change is made in within the repository.
Name
The file name of the document affected by the change.
Actioned By/Date
The user who performed the change, and when they did it.
Change Value
What field was affected by the change.
Change From
The previous value in the ‘Change Value’ field.
Change To
The new value in the ‘Change Value’ field.
